Dvorak 20 Sep 8:21am, 20 Sep 2024 28,082 posts	0 Dvorak I saw a new screen on my Garmin yesterday (245 music). Rather than plugging it into a mains charger, I plugged it into a car usb port. And was shown a big display with the percentage charged as a green sector of a circle, rather than the normal screen. Garmin race predictor: hogwash for me. Despite having data on many 5Ks and some 10Ks, it predicts my 5K as around 5 minutes faster and 10K as 8 minutes faster than any I've recorded with it. I think it may be based on it calculating an inaccurately VO2 max, which it stubbornly sticks to (though it dropped me a point last week). I'd have to be running at over 95% awhr to hit the times.

On my standard watch screen when not in activity (I’m talking about the standard screen that shows time of day etc) I have weekly mileage as one of the fields on display. However, it only seems to show the weekly mileage where the activity type was ‘Run’. If I do a ‘Trail Run’ activity type, the mileage from that activity isn’t included in that total. Very minor as I say, but I can’t see a way around this as I don’t think I’m choosing the incorrect data field. Any ideas?
