I usually have to click advanced and choose export as route rather than track and tick export without extensions then it works

Not had any problems.

It should have got easier as the latest versions of the firmware have removed the annoying 200 waypoint limit message (no that it ever seemed to have any impact anyway)

It's defo not working here. I can't see an option in OS Maps to click advanced and choose "export as route" rather than track. Or to tick "without extensions".

I'm using the app on android. Maybe that's the problem?

I wonder why it is not working here then. I could create a dummy route and email you the gpx as you mentioned?

@rhb Just tried it again on a longer course. This time it wouldn't save. Is that the issue you were having?

Mine have been 10 miles & longer, I typically don't map shorter as memorise or run where I fancy but in marathon block looking for more certainty and less decision making whilst out at present.

I've sent you the gpx for this 11 mile test loop that failed for me @larkim thanks.
