Until I read this thread posts today, I thought it was my Garmin 245, especially since my 235 which I used for the walking warm up and cool down was reasonably on track. My Garmin 245 doesn't inspire me with confidence - frequent erratic tracing (although not as bad as today's) plus about 50 - 100 (one hundred) updates EVERY SINGLE week (for the 3 or so years I have had it). What is so wrong with the 245 that it has needed 1,500 updates in 3 or 4 years? My Garmin 310XT which I use for cycling always produces wonderfully smooth and accurate traces, as it did this morning. Why is an old Garmin able to produce accurate results when my "new" ones seem to be incapable?

flanker Jun 2022 6:59pm, 28 Jun 2022 20,633 posts	0 flanker flatlander, garmin aren't releasing that many updates, not even for all their devices combined! I suspect you've got a corrupt update that it's continually trying and failing to apply.

Badger Jun 2022 7:09pm, 28 Jun 2022 15,367 posts	0 Badger Sounds like you’re using 310xt, 235 and 245, Flatlander ? That could explain some of it if Express is trueing-up some of the data from them over to the 245?
