That'll save me carrying my phone on my short local runs. I have listened to audio books and regularly listen to podcasts on my 965 which is the same tech, so yeah. I use Spotify as the middleman but I understand that there are a variety of ways to do it. |

Thanks Gooner. I've got it ordered so hopefully it'll be here by the weekend and I can have a play.

The workflow for keeping audio books / podcasts up to date you might find a bit clunky, but perhaps that's just me. I got the 645 music expecting to use it a lot, and in the end I find I tend to carry my phone in a flipbelt for any run where I also want to listen to music or podcasts anyway, so the feature isn't much used. I did also find (until I got a pair of Shokx headphones) that the bluetooth signal from the left wrist to the right ear (which is where most headphones have their receivers) was sometimes a bit flaky, so suspect that is headphone dependent.

Shokz are excellent for running anyway, sound ok but don't stop you hearing cars and so on. I used the audio on my watch for a bit, but I mainly listen to Audible audiobooks when I'm running and that's not supported. I tried one Spotify audiobook and I had to restart it manually at every chapter, which I didn't much like either, there were a lot of chapters to scroll through. If anyone knows how I could avoid that I might think about going back to it, though tbh I usually have my phone anyway if it's a long or commute run. |

My most annoying spotify / watch combo was a now defunct Spotify service where someone (a bit like a radio DJ) could curate a programme with some of their spoken word and then cue up a song (it was "Rob Deering's Radio Hour" if you're interested). Sadly the watch only downloaded the spoken word bit and didn't download the tracks! When I got the watch I thought I would use music and not use contactless payment. As it turns out, I use the contactless a lot and the music only a very little. |

I've said before that contactless is the feature that I really like having even if I don't use it much. It just gives peace of mind for running without any other equipment if you need money for some reason.

That's something I hadn't really thought of, SPR. It isn't a feature on the 735xt and I've mainly been interested in the activity and fitness tracking elements. Yep, I can see that being a big stressor removed if you're doing long runs or bike rides and get stranded.

What are you using for contactless? Think it was mostly Curve last time I asked this question

I basically never use my physical bank card anymore, contactless on the watch is used the majority of the time as it is just convenient.
