Starling is another option and I note they allow you to send payment requests to others without bank details which can be useful for organising stuff. Don't know if there's a cost to their account. |

The thing with Curve is you just link it to your main bank account so it's pretty simple.

Another vote for Curve here too. Also (although I rarely listen to music/podcast on my Fenix) I found the "Playrun" app to be helpful in maintaining a sync'd device. Although saying that I expect I manage my music library in a non-orthodox manner to most ... ! |

I use Spotify and one thing I don’t like is that podcasts don’t seem to sync back from the watch to Spotify, to mark that a podcast has been completed. I find the workflow works okay for me. I have a playlist of podcasts, then I add/delete what I want to/from that playlist using the Spotify app on my phone, then sync the watch, and the playlist on the watch updates. |

I had issues with Curve. Can't remember exactly what, but it put me off. I use Starling - I opened an account solely to use with my Garmin. It isn't my main current account, I just keep a small pot in there. There was no charge for the account.

I use Starling for payment and that works well for me. By the way, on audiobooks, I have been syncing mp3s to the watch to listen to them. I tried Spotify but couldn't get it to work. Has anyone got audiobooks via Spotify or does the app not support them? |

I don't think Spotify audiobooks are supported by the Garmin app.

I used to use Spotify with a 645 music and found that it had a tendency to crash and was a real pain to try and get it to start playing again, and also the sound quality was better coming from a phone, and it's probably sensible to have a phone with me anyway so I ended up not really using it.
