Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I ran with friends yesterday, my 235 logged my heart rate as max 84. There were a LOT of steep steps. It gave a recovery estimate of 1 hour.
I was also wearing my Fitbit Versa, paired to my phone. HR was max 180, average 140. I'm interested to see what the track looks like from garmin, will manually add to Fetch later.

The same as usual, CW. I had wondered if that was the problem, but I have never had any issues before. I did upload both files for the activity to have a better look, but I have deleted the Garmin one because the HR was way off. GPS for both was pretty similar, and some of the path was challenging in GPS terms (never mind for me!) as there was a fair bit of in and out of cliff crevasses, overhangs and very steep twisty stairs, which I assume will have an effect. I'm going to try again later on a more GPS friendly route.

If anyone else hast the problem that the GPS doesn't work anymore and distance is always zero: delete all old. Fit and sleep-files manually from the watch (via PC), then it works again. At least with my vivoactive 3 it worked.

Sweetpeas - are you sure the cable is OK? Tried a reboot?

Do you normally connect with the cable? If not, maybe give the connectors a clean?

Sweetpeas: is it definitely a USB data cable? Have you previously used it for data transfer?

There are two types of micro USB cable, externally identical, but one only provides power and not data. If your device will charge, but not show as a drive, it's probably just the power type.

I managed to download FIT files to fetch so I am well pleased.

Looks like Garmin maybe down for a while.
