Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Does anyone know if you load your runs manually to Fetch, can Fetch spot duplicates and NOT load them again once Garmin eventually tries to push them across ?

I'm happy to wait if it's going to mean deleting duplicate runs and having not earned all the Conq zones I'd end up with - but if Fetch can avoid the duplicates then will happily do manual uploads

Oh heck I’ve got a longer run today maybe I need to orange it as well to be safe. This is quite a pain. It does make me think what would happen if we were to lose something like affected our mobiles my whole life is on here now. How would you demonstrate what bank accounts you had and about much is in them? Scary thought.

Gus, they will duplicate but it’s quite easy to get rid of the dupes. In entries mode you can delete an activity by pressing the dustbin. If you categorise your activities then you can just sort but the uncategorised ones (ie the ones that have just been uploaded) and you’ll easily see the dupes.

I'm pretty sure Fetch doesn't spot duplicates.

Can't send your workouts to your watch ATM which is a bugger if you want to do a complex one. Luckily my workout today could be set up on the basis interval setup on the watch.

SPR, why Garmin do you have? Some of the newer garmins have the ability to create workouts directly on the watch.

CW, Garmin 245. I thought I'd read that somewhere but not sure it applies to the 245?

SPR on my 945 you start the run profile, press up, scroll to intervals and create one there. Does that work for you?

My workouts are created by the TrainAsOne bot and usually transfer via Garmin connect automatically. It wasn't had to tranfer the session via the laptop.
Is there another workout building site that could be used instead of trying to do them on the watch?

Yeah, I created an internal workout but that's basically run X, rest Y, so many times which worked for what I wanted today

You can't create run X, rest Y, so many times, then run Z, rest A, so many times from what I can see.

I actually did one of the latter on Thursday morning and luckily sent the workout to my watch on Wednesday night!

I uploaded to fetch then deleted all the activities on my watch. If it’s on fetch it’s logged so it won’t matter.
