Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Reports that the IQ Store is back up. I've managed to get on. It's back offline again now but guess it shows Garmin are making progress.

Also heard that Garmin sent over c.100 files to Runalyze but have no confirmation of this.

Right, I have now uploaded my activity for the last few days to fetch via my charging cable. Interestingly, there were also 3 FIT files for activities which had already uploaded before Garmin's systems went offline. I wonder if they will duplicate as well?

On another topic, I had a weird glitch on my Garmin a couple of weeks ago when I did a long walk, and recorded it as two separate activities before and after the lunch break. The stairs counter went absolutely nuts on the second activity - by the end it claimed I had hit 76x target, which corresponds to 7600 feet of ascent. The route was flat/downhill (down a canal lock flight). Anyone had similar?

My Mac seems to not to recognize my 410 through the charging cable - does anybody have any hints as to what I could do?

Didn't the 410 use an Ant stick?

It does, but the ANT stick doesn't seem to work becuase it can't connect to the server.

Am I being a banana?

No, I think the Ant stuff hides all the inner workings from you so nothing appears as a drive etc. Whether anyone wrote any software that lets you get at the files I don't know. Presumably Ian does.

The DCRainmaker instructions aren’t working for me as my Mac doesn’t recognise the Garmin connected by my chsrger cable as an external drive, ie; it isn’t popping up in Locations.
