I fancy doing it as a regular challenge but really need to see how it goes first.

The tradition is to do Murph on Memorial Day in May each year, due to it being a "Hero" workout dedicated to a fallen soldier, so I'm definitely planning to do it again in May but I'd be open to doing it a bit more regularly than that.

But monthly might be a bit much for me!

That went alright. I ran to the playground where the monkey bars are, did 10 rounds of 5/10/15 and ran home. The start of the second run was a bit wobbly but my legs came back fairly quickly and I got moving well.

The worst bit was that I'd thought the playground would be empty with the rain but I got stared at by the little kid being pushed by his dad on the swings. THey must have wondered what I was thinking!

Great work well done. How was the grip on the bars in the rain?

Less slippy than I expected to be honest. That did occur to me that I might struggle but I'm only doing sets of 5 so I coped alright.

Starting to worry about mission creep. I think this time round I'm definitely toing partitioned 5/10/15 x 20. Once I've ticked that off though..........

Tested the waters with 10 press ups and 15 air squats - not pretty! Have yet to set up Aussie bar so no pull-ups yet. Plan to run a mile tomorrow.

Oh my goodness! (several expletives deleted)

3 x 5/10/15 done (just about)

Door knob and towel employed for the pull ups (they aren't as easy as they look...)

and press-ups on my knees as my toe is too sore for proper ones.

I tried the pull along the floor thing for the pullups, but my floor isn't slippery enough.
I doubt I'll get to 20x before Christmas, might aim for the half, might decide to unwatch this thread and forget I ever heard of a Murph!

You're in now RH! No escape. No retreat. No surrender.

Well done on getting a first go at it done. Believe me, the hardest part is starting. You'll be amazed how quickly they start getting easier if you can stick with it.

And a half Murph is a perfectly acceptable way to go.
