Doric - my most common breakfast is a cheese omelette followed by one slice of toast and jam. I try to stick to 30% protein but breakfast is slightly less than that for protein as I run before breakfast. Sometimes I will have bacon and eggs plus toast. Or scrambled eggs with baked beans. I also have one portion of fruit too, usually grapes. If I have porridge for breakfast it fills me up at the time but I'd be ravenous 2 hours later and would need a substantial snack to get me through to lunch.

I'm the same with porridge but better if I add a scoop of protein powder.

I add peanut butter or I got some chia chocolate nut butter stuff that is horrible on it's own but really good stirred into porridge.

That’s really interesting as if I have porridge im definitely hungry afterwards.
Breakfast here is either- yoghurt with berries, slice of toast & poached egg, just a slice of toast or a bagel thin. I’ve started to tolerate peanut butter.

I'm the opposite - porridge keeps me fuller for longer than most things.

I'm with Sarah - porridge is a good breakfast for me. Sometimes with a couple of walnut halves crumbled into it, or a handful of blueberries. If I'm doing a long run - which is 10 miles or above for me - I'll also have a poached egg on toast.

Porridge keeps me full all morning; likewise a couple of scrambled eggs. Yogurt and fruit less so.
