Hi kwala, nice to see you back here Have you read the FAST 800 book by Michael Moseley? I'm re-reading it this week; it is suggested that 650 cals a day is sufficiently low on the 5:2 diet, but also that time restricted eating (I'm managing easily to eat between 11am and 7pm each day) on 800 cals each day is also effective. You might find it easier to stick to if you aren't down to just 500 cals a day. But you know what works best for you

I've not read that, GM - I'm kind of making it up as I go along but tbh I tried that before with 5:2 and it didn't last! I may be on Amazon before the day is out!

There's the FAST 800 and the new one is FAST 800 Keto. I prefer the former and there are recipe books to go with it.

Hi kwala! Lovely to see you I lost 2.5 lbs this week. That the most I’ve lost in one week in ages! I’m dead chuffed. Funny how if you stick to the plan, it does work!

My problem is I have no interest in food and not adventurous enough to try new foods and recipes but that’s maybe where I’m going wrong . I just know I need food for fuel
