This past year has been difficult just little steps and you’ll soon be back to where you want to be. I bet you’re looking great x
It’s a good point WP say something on a wrong day it risks being taken out of hand.

I've come to realise that it's as much about finding what works for you, as anything. I knew I couldn't adopt SW 'syns' or WW points or whatever it is they have now, gor long enough to change habits. I've found the Blood Sugar plan easy to adapt to - I don't miss rice, pasta or potatoes and I am having the occasional slice of toast and Marmite! I can see me sticking more or less to this way of eating for a good while for it to become my 'norm'.
I do hope that's not 'famous last words' 🤣

Exactly LD I mostly calorie count but try to keep the focus on the SW speed/free food groups.
Bread & cheese (& wine) is my danger areas so keeping those under control is key for me. If I cut cals too far it’s counter productive I need somewhere around 1500-1800 per day depending on what running I’m doing.
We are all different and different things will work otherwise we’d all be model figure perfect.

That's an incredible difference, Corrah. Both are lovely photos of you.
I agree, LD. I've tried every diet going over the years and lost about stone over 2-3 months then it's quickly gone back on plus a bit more. BSD seems to suit me. After losing 3 stones, I continued to eat this way for 10 months back in 2016/17, keeping the weight off, and only fell off the wagon when we got our motorhome and someone said we should have pick 'n' mix for the journey and a snack cupboard for evening treats - all carb-based of course. Foolishly, I went full mode. Interestingly, whilst I put the weight back on, I didn't put on any extra lbs.
As long as I avoid sweets most of the time and limit how often I have , I can follow the BSD principles for everyday purposes on a long term basis.

I took photos and measurements at the weekend so here’s hoping a month from now I see a change in the right direction. Saw a FB memory last week of a parkrun at the beginning of 2018 ( just after my son’s wedding in 2017 ) and I would like to look like that again.

How are we all getting on?
I thought I'd had a week pretty much on plan, but I finish it with just 0.5lb off. better than on but this is going to take forever!

I stayed the same this week which was slightly disappointing because for the 3 days before weigh-in day, I was a pound down. It'll come next week, I expect.
