The dress and jacket I wore for the last two weddings could go to a charity shop, as no-one else in the immediate family looks like getting married in the near future.

I think this thread is seasonal unless someone has a random spree. Right now everyone is preparing for winter. I’m predicting a decluttering surge in January.

Mr W's attack on the downstairs loo was partially successful, in that we can use the loo. Unfortunately it means the stuff I was storing there to sort out is now in the car/shed/Hall cupboard/living room floor. As the shed is not watertight and is barricaded with bikes, it's not ideal.
Listing things on FB/ebay is so time consuming but can't afford to just give it all away.

Also I'm lazy.

Finally sorted through my wardrobe and drawers
Bag out this morning for charity and a big bag of rubbish

Also cleared through my ‘everything goes in it’ drawer - another bag of rubbish and I’ve found the card I bought for my sisters birthday :)

My oldest daughter is home and "decluttering" her sister's wardrobe (with the latter's blessing, she assures me) to scavenge some clothes for herself. I may go through the rest and get rid of a load when she's gone.

I’ve been in my house a year. Despite all good intentions I haven’t finalised the office, and it’s becoming a junk room. It needs a really good tidy and organise. I’ve also, to my shame, still got some unpacked boxes in the garage (lack of time and space is my excuse!)

I spotted my neighbour over the road loading up his car, 3 loads given to him for the tip plus another that he can car boot.

Help advice and support for declutterers

Special May Challenge

".... This month, each of you must get rid of one thing on the first day. On the second, two things. Three items on the third. So forth, and so on. Anything can go! Clothes, furniture, electronics, tools, decorations, etc. Donate, sell, or trash. Whatever you do, each material possession must be out of your house—and out of your life—by midnight each day."
