I have ordered a bin on wheels for my team - we'll be moving desks at some point in the next couple of months and the new desks are smaller. I need to declutter and maybe it'll be a hint to others.
That's a bin for my team to use, not a bin to put my team IN but sometimes it's tempting.
Let us not speak of my study at home!

I'm an expert at decluttering, they even panic at work when I decide to tidy up as I am completely ruthless, I don't seem to have sentimental attachment to anything so don't worry what goes.

I've been decluttering my mum's house in readiness for sale as she has gone into residential care. She had a serious hoarding habit!!!
A lot of junk has found its way to the local tip, and there's a fair pile of stuff ready to go to a car boot sale at some point, although I'm not really looking forward to that experience.
She had a huge hoard of new, unused household goods - Kitchen foil, food bags, cling film; Bin bags, refuse bags; Toilet tissue, paper tissues; Floor cleaner, toilet cleaner, washing up liquid; Laundry liquid, fabric softener; Light bulbs; Etc... I contacted the food bank in the town where she lives to see if it was any use to them. No reply. However, the food bank near where I live was delighted to take it all off my hands. It took 5 car-loads to get it all to them but they said it was going out as fast as I could bring it in!
So, consider your local food bank. They do more than just food!

Ooh, love it - I got rid of 3 bags of clothes recently. Felt soooo good! However, I'm generally rubbish. I don't like change, I'm scared of losing stuff, and I really can't be bothered. We're having building work done soon tho, so we have to clear some space for that. I shall follow with interest...! G
