Another three bags to charity shop (eBay looks like too much effort). One of clothes, two of books. Only problem is that I’ve since bought at least as many books as I got rid of - problem with charity shops is that stuff flows in both directions.

Plus a trip to the tip, but that was just clearing out the recyclables that don’t go in the recycling box, plus business related excess cardboard and non-recyclable junk. :-(

We’re packing to move and have got rid of a fair amount of stuff in the process. I think we will get rid of even more when we unpack. I love decluttering :)

We went through some old inherited photos and papers and did a long-overdue tip trip dropping off 3 lots at a charity shop on the way.

I have my office to declutter over the next month. Moving MY stuff out won't be a problem, but I wish I'd taken an inventory of all the historical clutter when I moved in, for some of it's still here.

Oh wow Carp, good luck with that!
We moved 2 weeks ago and even though we had got rid of lots of stuff, on move day we felt overwhelmed with the amount of stuff we still had. Since moving two more car loads have gone to the tip for recycling. We have been ruthless and nothing is getting in the new place unless we definitely want/need it.

Ds2 bullied me into decluttering a couple of kitchen cupboards last night. I’m getting new tiles in there and then he started taking stuff out of cupboards and saying ‘do you really NEED this?’ It was funny :)

I took all the Things To Sell out of the cupboard. Then it was time to get T from school so I put them back 😱

".... This month, each of you must get rid of one thing on the first day. On the second, two things. Three items on the third. So forth, and so on. Anything can go! Clothes, furniture, electronics, tools, decorations, etc. Donate, sell, or trash. Whatever you do, each material possession must be out of your house—and out of your life—by midnight each day."
