OK, I was going to suggest you just shut the door and leave it but that probably requires tackling for health reasons!

Decided to get ruthless, I have bags to go to charity shop clothes that will never fit again but I can buy equally beautiful clothes again someday, some books which don't mean anything to me

Don't know when I'll get to charity shop but I will.

My declutterer came yesterday and we did the big undersink bathroom drawer, a big drawer in the kitchen and a big bookcase covered in random crap. I also had 4 bags of clothes and books and I found 2 more of each plus random crap from the kitchen ds2 helped me declutter. It’s never ending!

This thread keeps me in line! Several items sold, including clothes, toys, kitchen stuff. And lots of stuff taken to the tip or charity shop. I'm particularly proud of having a clear kitchen work surface, instead of it being filled with stuff

Carpathius
Tidied out the cupboard under the stairs and the shed. Not much binned or given away as I do it periodically but it just needed putting back where it belonged. Tools and things like bolts/screws/nails sorted out.

This week: the loft.

Help advice and support for declutterers

Special May Challenge

theminimalists.com

".... This month, each of you must get rid of one thing on the first day. On the second, two things. Three items on the third. So forth, and so on. Anything can go! Clothes, furniture, electronics, tools, decorations, etc. Donate, sell, or trash. Whatever you do, each material possession must be out of your house—and out of your life—by midnight each day."
