My new fact of the day is the only Fetchie who’s taken Brian out of the 90-100% performance bracket was Dio. Twice in fact.

Announcement
For those of you who have not yet solved the puzzle, it is me.
Yesterday I received an email telling me that my account was to be closed immediately. No discussion, no right of appeal, nothing. Almost immediately, you all started to receive messages and the discussion on the thread commenced.
First, let me say that I have not cheated. Or, at least I didn’t think I had.
I mentioned a few weeks back that I had sheets of paper all over the spare room with all of the moves from my recent and ongoing games. I used these to analyse move options. I also started to look into various Wikipedia sites, read some books and watched a lot of YouTube videos. A clear head from not drinking was also very advantageous. More importantly, I changed my style from being very aggressive and attacking to more patient. I even joked with Fetch that my new approach was to try and bore my opponent with long drawn out games, waiting for them to get impatient and provide an opening. If I couldn’t see anything for my pieces, I would tinker with a pawn, or even remember that my pieces can move backwards!
Yesterday I was angry when I got the email. I was then distraught when I realised that the platform had already publicly outed me by advising all of my recent opponents. In my line of work, even the convicted are allowed to plead mitigation.
Having re-read the fair play rules I now realise that referring to notes to support your play is a violation. I honestly thought that I was doing no more on paper than many of you had talked about on this forum where you advised people to make notes in the app to assist you.
I would like to apologise to all of you for my mistake. Made out of ignorance but only with the intention of becoming a better player.
Thank you to all of my opponents. I enjoyed every game and you all helped me to become a better player. Special thanks to Surelynot1 for introducing me to the Caro-Khan which I adopted as my preferred black opening.
I am still feeling very raw this morning. However, it is what it is. Good luck to you all for your future games. My king will move no more.

It is allowed to use notes and an opening book in daily chess, just not in live chess.

That seems really harsh JW. Perhaps the Fetch Chess Group could appeal on your behalf. As a group I think we all strive to be better etc.
But how did they know you had notes ? Just curious, not accusing .........
