We’ve been able to book another site a little further away from Southwold than our original booking, but still close enough to be able to be convenient. (We had thought that we might have to cancel our beach hut booking and car rental that do a free collection and drop off). It’s also quite close to Sizewell Nuclear Power Station, so at least the sea will be warm 😉

Has anyone done it, and if so any tips for a cafe etc afterwards? I was looking at campsites and was thinking about one called Penrallt Bach for 2 or 3 nights, which is CL - does anyone know about that one, or somewhere nice in a similar area? (I posted this in the parkrun thread as well )

Nothing too big you understand, but we do feel the need for something a bit more self-contained. Bear in mind that we only rarely use campsites, more often than not we seek the wilderness.
