Northern Exile does that mean you’re thinking of exchanging it? I think you mentioned some attractions of motorhomes (shower, WC) a while back?

Rosehip I suspect there aren’t many options that are bigger than a Berlingo and smaller than a VW campervan? (Does the Toyota Alphard fall into that gap?) |

I think a VW is the right size and am leaning towards jerbacampervans.co.uk Husband still says it’s too small |

Thanks for your comments everyone. We’ve been able to book another site a little further away from Southwold than our original booking, but still close enough to be able to be convenient. (We had thought that we might have to cancel our beach hut booking and car rental that do a free collection and drop off). It’s also quite close to Sizewell Nuclear Power Station, so at least the sea will be warm 😉 |

We are off to Wales in the campervan in a couple of weeks and I was looking at Hafan Pwllheli parkrun. Has anyone done it, and if so any tips for a cafe etc afterwards? I was looking at campsites and was thinking about one called Penrallt Bach for 2 or 3 nights, which is CL - does anyone know about that one, or somewhere nice in a similar area? (I posted this in the parkrun thread as well ![]() |

We are all set up, not sure OH enjoyed his first longer towing experience but am sure he will get used to it. Nice site, pub, tea room and canal all within a minute walk. Good job I brought the paddleboard 😁 |

Northern Exile does that mean you’re thinking of exchanging it? I think you mentioned some attractions of motorhomes (shower, WC) a while back? I definitely am thinking of changing it for something a little bigger. Nothing too big you understand, but we do feel the need for something a bit more self-contained. Bear in mind that we only rarely use campsites, more often than not we seek the wilderness. |

My neck of the woods ER! I’ve just booked a 55 miler from Southwold in July! We camp up there a lot! We have a great wild camping spot in Dunwich Forest but we have also camped on Southwold seafront!
