My black bread would be just perfect with Guinness and a big chunk of mature Cheddar. :-)

Great mileage GG!

Oh now you’re talking Sharkie!

Apologies I was excited about my badge I didn’t check back at other newts first.

.B. That is a lovely newt for your mum.

Ness I bought an Easter egg for us at the weekend which is something I never do neither

GM love your cheesecake egg boats!

And I agree Hann was a worthy winner a great attitude!

I received a new book in the post today. The Vegan Cookbook For Athletes. I have tons of cookbooks and usually there's only ever one or two recipes in each one that I actually ever make. Is it just me? Anyway, not even had time to look at it yet!

I had my first night out of 2021! Dinner and fire pit in my brother’s garden, it was so lovely.
I also tried a new recipe yesterday, a giant cinnamon bun in loaf form. It was delicious.

I like dark rye bread with some good salty butter and damson jam - it was what husband's godfather served us for breakfast when we stayed in Budapest with him and I occasionally treat myself to it. yummy :)

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
