I had a huge coughing fit on my run today when I swallowed a fly, right in the middle of a busy park. I think I worried a lot of people, but at least 3 people stopped (from a distance) to see if I was OK. They all chuckled when I said I'd swallowed a fly.

I think I'm going to start taking water out on me with my runs now!

I think I must look really scary because everyone gives me a wide berth and looks a bit wary. Or maybe my hi viz vest makes me look like the Lockdown Police.

Just read a couple pages back Jenelopy talking about how NZ have discharged their last Covid19 patient and had no new cases for 5 days.

Look at the detail and quality of their lockdown easing on their gov website

covid19.govt.nz

An object lesson how to do things correctly.

With regard to our discssion about self-isolation in the past few pages of this thread, it is interesting the read the descriptionof self isolation in NZ:

covid19.govt.nz

It is noteworthy that outdoor exercise is allowed duirng self-isolation in NZ. In genral the description does not sound too over-powering. On the other hand, the NZ government does take self-isolation sersioulsy. Police do random checks on individuals who are suppose to be self-isolating

I have a decent sized back garden that you can easy social distance in but the access through would either be through the house which I know is a no no or about 20 steps through my garage - would that also be a no no?

Had to double overtake on my lunchtime run today, so was on the opposite side of the road. I think people are generally being friendlier, at least on the routes I take.

It does seem busier to be honest, and there were definitely people heading into the park for sunbathing/picnics. We've been fairly lucky round here so far *touch wood* considering our proximity to London, but the co-op seems to be struggling a bit this week, which suggests more people are out and about.

People are coming off furlough at work, so they're obviously going to try to get the labs going again in the next few weeks. Office stuff will still be WFH for the foreseeable though.

Both doors fully open wouldn't be a problem. Just hoping I can see my grandson soon

LG I think 20 steps through garage is fine as is someone going through house as long as no doors touched.

Seems like a lot of people and work to stop at best 15% of infections:
