I’ve found that wfh means I am more likely to work if feeling a bit low as easier to drag myself to the next room than it is to get up, dressed, drive to work etc

Absolutely. I couldn’t get out of bed on Tuesday and would never have gone to work. But I could work from the bed!

MiL has come back from their coach holiday with it :( She sounds grim but says it feels like a very bad cold. She's 84, so well vaccinated. Fingers crossed.

DQ i thought the advice was gap between vaccines. That would seem the safest approach. I think advice has been a bit fluid.

Little Miss Happy might have the current advice

DQ - not a medic, but last year I got a pneumonia jab from the GP (well, a nurse) and asked if any impact on my upcoming Covid jab. Assured there wasn't.
When I went to the local centre for the covid jab, the nurses there called the consultant and only after quite a bit of thought did he agree to let it go ahead. And that was because I was 7 days later, not 7 full days.

When I next spoke to the surgery (different nurse, and the GP) they both insisted their advice was correct, but that many people and some medical authorities were adopting the 7 day gap to be able to assess & identify any side effects.

To be safe, may be nbest to schedule at least 7 full days apart? Although maybe the covid jab side effect tracking is lower risk/priority these days?

Or do whatever the covid centre says. They're unlikely to change their position, right or wrong or not. As DocM says, it may be a matter of interpratation rather than absolute non-ambiguous guidance.

DQ - the only vaccine we worry about having within a week of the CV19 one is shingles. Apart from that we just suggest that you use the opposite arm so that if there are localised side effects you know which has caused it.

Thanks all.

I think I might just reschedule my pneumococcal vaccine. OH has injured his hand so if I were to have two sore arms that would mean only one working arm between us! :P

My brother's boss has just tested positive, it's still out there. I've just bought some more tests as the last one got used today. Hopefully still immune from last year's case!

It's coming back. There's new variants to worry about that may or may not be affected by previous infection/vax.
