Got the same situation here, child had a snotty nose yesterday, no temperature but today has a dry cough so not sure whether to send him in tomorrow or not.

Tricky balance for those with school age children being the normal "back to school" viruses. Helegant, I had a similar experience. Daughter and grandsons came over for lunch in the garden on my birthday, and the elder one just rushed up with his arms wide to give me a hug. Best birthday present!

Bit of a *suncream* moment for us today. My Mum really wanted to hug my boy goodbye as he goes to uni but has been super careful all through this. We got him dressed up in PPE from my clinic, and mum in mask and glassses.

Awww Katie. Good pragmatic solution.
Nice to have a little normality HB and Helegant.
Unfortunately none at the vets this morning - had to let my poor dog go in without me whilst the vet stapled her wound

That's lovely Katie
Hope she's OK LMH
Have been somewhat reassured by Marigold as apparently school are not sending kids home if they've got the sniffles- just reminding them about blowing noses, disposing of tissues, and good hand hygiene. At the moment their approach has been pretty sensible, so if she feels OK tomorrow she'll be going in
