That is a lovely pic C9 utterly hating school, the 20 min early lunch with no toilet breaks in afternoon but helping I have to escalate again today. She was off three days last week when her cold spiked a temperature - we all tested negative but it made me doublethink all my recent interactions and I was glad I wore a mask on a field and didn’t hug Teebs despite the guidance that masks are unnecessary outside and 2m apart

(I wouldn’t normally wear a mask in that scenario but Pilgrim organisers asked us too)

Just feeling a bit sorry for herself thanks WA.
That sounds like a difficult situation with the school Dipps (hope you don't mind me using the abbreviation - please say if so). I take it they are supposed to manage to eat lunch and go to the loo in those twenty minutes? How long between the end of lunch and home time?

If they’ve only got 20 minutes to eat lunch and go to the loo, where is the letting off steam time? The down time? How are they supposed to learn anything in the afternoon if they’ve only had a 20 minute break??

I wouldn't manage lunch and the loo in twenty minutes - it must be so rushed.

had a very stressful week as husband came home from work on Monday with a high temperature, so kept youngest son off school, had to rethink eldest's date for moving to uni accommodation. A verry stressful 36 hours constantly refreshing the test booking website to get a test, 2 hour round trip to Leicester for a test. Luckily came back negative early Friday morning so youngest could get back to school. Meanwhile the school have had a couple of positive tests (assuming on kids but could be staff - I respect that they aren't giving any details) so some bubbles of kids sent home for 14 days. They have said the staff can't cope with teaching lessons and doing online work. I can understand that, but makes it very hard for the kids sent home...
