LMH I got it from amazon. It’s brilliant but glad my husband is an engineer as the instructions were rubbish and some holes I wrong place. One of the runners was faulty he fixed it with an old credit card. They are supposed to be sending me a new one. smile.amazon.co.uk |

Thanks gg - I'm rather put off by your difficulties with assembly though - my OH is not in the least bit practical and whilst I can manage flat pack assembly I wouldn't want to be drilling holes. That looks pretty tidy to me JR. |

Yeah it was a nightmare and the reviews said the same sadly. It’s a shame they don’t sort it out as it’s a great desk.

Nothing to do with WFH but a side effect of coronavirus... My dentist has just phoned to reschedule postponed routine appointments. She was upfront about warning me that prices would be increased, due to them having to wear extra PPE and so forth. An appointment with the hygienist used to cost £54. It will now cost me £90. That’s a big increase! |

KatieB was saying on the podcast about the cost of PPE as a physio. I assume dentists would have higher requirements given where they are working. Although it’s not like they don’t use some PPE all the time anyway...

Ouch......that's a hell of a lot to pay On a separate note, my wifes call booked for yesterday which was suspiciously timed for a redundancy type call turned out to just be a general catch up and no talk of redundancies at this stage and sounds like furlough will be extended. While that's good on the money front, I think she is starting to struggle without the focus of work. My son is to call his new employer this afternoon to agree a start date which is good although his redundancy outcome meeting isn't until Monday. |

Blimey - I also had a call from the hygienist about an appointment I should have had earlier in the year. No mention of price rises but I hope they'd have the courtesy to mention it.
