WA that is just how I feel too. Anxious with every step away from lockdown as it was in the start. The places I feel safe are home, running and although it may sound strange work.

Oh, meant to say thanks for the info too LF. Our psychology team has been pretty good about providing resources to cope with lockdown anxiety and social isolation. I'll have to ask them if they've got anything for easing the *easing of lockdown* anxiety

I do wonder if there is an element of us being over cautious now. I know that fozzy spoke about fear and scaremongering which I disagreed with at the time. When I am out and about I take a bit more care and respect peoples space.

However I have a potential holiday to Turkey in 4 weeks now which I am worrying about and I don't know if that is a valid fear or not. As things stand I hope the flight is cancelled and I get the money back. If it isnt, then my family have a decision to make and as things stand none of us feel comfortable with a 5 hr flight and then time in a foreign country where if we did pick up COVID and found ourselves needing specialist care, how good would that care be. That's even before we have a 2 week quarantine on our return if that's still in place.

Bazo, I don't think I'd be happy either. But...

Interesting how we view our healthcare system against our European cousins though. My Swiss not-mother-in-law won't travel to the willingly to the UK at the best of times since she views our world beating NHS as substandard compared to the Swiss set-up.

The key difference is the fact they get effectively private care, with a lot more input from specialists and medical staff. (I'd argue they're a bit too quick to jump to medical intervention!). I expect their basic tax rate is a lot higher to pay for this.

My father-in-law is currently paying a small fortune for his macular treatments, since he made the decision to stay in Switzerland, and his medical insurance won't cover it.

Not sure what the Turkish healthcare system is really like.

Similar situation here Bazo, we're meant to be going to Sardinia at the end of July. All dependent on BA flights now. Tbh I'm not concerned about the holiday, we've booked an isolated rural villa and I'm more than happy to hole up there for the week. Also happy to deep clean the hire car myself if needs be. Just a teeny bit wary about the actual flight, close proximity to others etc, and of course if quarantine is in place we can't go because I need to be in work when we get back.

In happier news, our local zoo is taking bookings now, so we've booked for Father's Day 😊😊

Our summer holiday is in our campervan via eurotunnel. We are due to stay in Germany (with family) then Austria, italy and france. All on campsites in our camper. In two of the Italy sites we have our own shower/loo on the plot. I am still not feeling happy about going though....

In other news I have had the antibody test today in with a lot of other blood test by my doctor. Will be interesting to see if I did actually have the virus when I thought.

In principle we've got self-catering booked in Scotland about 2 days after the hypothetical opening in July. I'm not that keen but I wasn't when it was originally booked either :-)

Up until 2 days ago I'd assumed it was cancelled anyway, but then the announcement, and maybe there's no real reason not to go...
