Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'd certainly be interested in running this and helping on an occasional basis.

Lyra, MCP was pretty flooded yesterday because of the rain. All along the main route from the north of the park through to the main entrance.

That aside, it was brilliant to run through ;)

Re location suggestions. How would the Fen Ditton 5k route do ? Or is it too far out ?

Ted, I'm expecting it to be pretty flooded - I guess flooding's going to be a problem for many venues. Wonder how much time wearing wellies would add to a 5k... :)

Hmm, not familiar with the Fen Ditton 5k route. I'll see if I can find a course map somewhere.

It doesn't seem to have been run for a few years and I never did it but got the impression it was traffic free. Though possibly not enough to qualify as a parkrun.

Hi peeps! Have to say, Milton Country Park looked very promising yesterday. I didn't see any flooding, but it was certainly a bit soggy. Managed to run in road shoes though and a 5k route was pretty easy to suss out.

Didn't get to check out TTR stretch, but still plan to.

I'll send a group fmail (hint: join the group if you're interested! :) ) soon regarding a meeting for those who'd like to attend. At the moment, possible dates for this are Monday 23, Wednesday 25 or Friday 27 November.
