However, I thought it might cause a bit of congestion - particularly if there are walkers with dogs/prams etc using the park too. Hello RunningBob! RunningBob Nov 2009 4:30pm, 19 Nov 2009 1,878 posts	Quote Pin RunningBob We have a couple of bridges at Bramhall - there was no way to avoid them - but the surface can get very slippery especially when 200+ runners run across in muddy shoes. A few well positioned "Caution Runners" signs help alert the other park users and give the feel of a proper race - you can get them places like http://www.runningimp.co.uk/c-2-event-essentials.aspx. Depending on where it is you might find that the university sports dept is interested in being involved. South Manchester and Leeds parkruns are both connected to university - which gets you lots of volunteers.
