Today’s had a few downward dogs and planks but not as bad as the previous day. Quite enjoyed it today, the supine twist was painful showing how desperately I need to do yoga as usually I find them ok. Enjoyed the warrioring and some of the other moves, could no more grab my foot with my other hand than fly to the moon though

Ah yes for some reason I've already forgotten about that move! My foot and hand were waving to each other forlornly rather than meeting!

My foot and hand were a long way apart too. I still find the wrists hard (I think it’s just how my wrists are). Spreading the fingers makes it worse if anything. I’m hoping they’ll just get a bit more used to it. Overall the slowing down and relaxing whilst doing some tough (for me) moves is very good for me and I’m sure will be very beneficial. |

Day 3 done as a post run cool down... my balance with the leg&arm raises from table top was nigh on non-existent and my foot and hand were waving at each other from across the road rather than connecting but hopefully these things can only get better? although the supine twist caused me to ache, it was in a nice way iykwim - it felt like a nice stretch!

I just did day 2 and 3 sessions back to back. The second session felt much better than the first and my body does feel 'awakened'. (in shock more like, after a 5 mile run and nearly an hour of yoga ) |

Day 3 done. I liked it - although is it my imagination that Adriene is waffling on more than ever? I read Fleecy and Oatsie's comments about the hand to foot pose I thought they meant this: yogajournal.com lord of the dance pose or something.... and suspected I'd fall over as my elderly person balance is not As it Was. Was pleasantly surprised it's easier than that... one arm and one shin on the floor and I'm quite happy to grab the opposite foot. Yehaw! |

It makes a satisfyingly graceful shape. NICE!

My yoga instructor friend is forever posting pictures of herself doing that lord of the dance thing - on top of a mountain, on the beach, other ‘interesting’ locations. I find it quite irritating if I’m honest which is probably not in the spirit of yoga.
