Mmmph. I had the predicted DOMS yesterday & it remains today, the worst bit was my stomach from hanging knee raises which didn’t feel too hard.

Press ups from a higher surface are so much better than knee press ups. They force you to maintain lumbar/pelvic stability properly which knees don’t. It’s incredibly difficult to get someone to their toes when they’re used to knees as the increased lever length going to toes equates to a very large increase in weight (I hope that makes sense).

Total sense HK! I only I had known that years ago 😀

This is excellent :) Full press-ups on an incline are a huge improvement on knee press-ups, both because of the extra work and because knee press-ups don't teach the movement skill and confidence you need to get up on your hands and toes.

:)
I'm pleased that my bad hand/wrist is now strong enough to support properly and by doing this kind of exercise will make it stronger yet.

When I had PT years ago, there was a bar which they raised or lowered for press ups, which were done with straight body. I started fairly high but did manage to go lower after a few months. Not going back to a gym any time soon, going to start doing wall press ups and try stairs later on.

will speak to coach Gobi but I can't see too many issues with including this just timing! (and doing!)
