I bought this book amazon.co.uk following the 12 days of Fetchmas challenge. I enjoyed doing the daily bodyweight exercises but had to learn how to do each one properly (isn't YouTube great!).

I'm intending to continue throughout 2021, learning along the way and getting stronger. If anyone else is at the same stage, join me here so we can help and encourage each other.

Iā€™m in. Iā€™ve been doing a 10-12 minute daily routine since October and Iā€™m interested in adapting it more to suit my goals. Iā€™ve bought the kindle book you recommended

Hi Susie šŸ˜ Iā€™m going to read the book today and the start tomorrow, possibly with week 1 of the beginnerā€™s plan at the back of the book.

I dip in and out of bodyweight training & just restarted playing yesterday. Iā€™ve not come across this book before & may have a look.
I tend towards Al & Danny Kavadlo, Alā€™s got a free app with limited training on that you can upgrade for limited amounts of time for a few quid or for about Ā£10 for a lifetime. Alā€™s all about fun, Dannyā€™s a bit intense.

School of Calisthenics schoolofcalisthenics.com are 2 lads from Nottingham that are UKSCA registered & are a lot of fun. Tim workā€™s with elite Paralympians. They used to do a free intro course, I couldnā€™t find it when I just looked, but you can get 7 days free access to their site as a taster.

They sound interesting thanks HK. My only experience of callisthenics is 80ā€™s VHS with American women in bright coloured Lycra so Iā€™m fascinated to see the two lads from Nottingham!

Iā€™m interested. Will give me extra options for exercises during my quarantine and hopefully Iā€™ll keep them going after too.

Iā€™ve skim read the book. Iā€™ll be using it for inspiration of how to create a balanced plan for me rather than follow the program to the letter. Good to have a reference for what specific muscles are targeted by each exercise

I remember Callesnetics from the '80s; small movements with lots of reps to tone deeper muscles.
