Evening all. I seem to remember there has been reference to a bike tyre pressure calculator website at some point in the past. To save me trawling through 16 years of posts, can anyone remind me? Or if I've imagined it, can anyone recommend any such site? Ta muchly |

There are a few, but I've often heard reference to the Silca one. Though when I plugged my numbers in it seemed to suggest quite a high value (I use values closer to those in the link Cath provided).

Thanks. I agree about the Silca values being a bit high, but maybe the Sram values are on the low side. There again, they are for Zipp wheels, so maybe carbon wheels are different. I seem to recall ElBee! having some thoughts about the differential between front and read pressures |

There's a new bike that I'm interested in, and I've come across a older model of it, still brand new, on eBay - think it's just a colour change, but checking for any component differences between older and new model. Anyway the eBay listing is by the shop, not an individual, and says Open to Offers, and also says that it's advertised cheaper elsewhere. Where is that liklely to be, for a shop to advertise "new" older bikes ? I've checked FB Marketplace and it's not on there, but not sure if there are other "go to" websites where this is likely to be. Don't want to offer a bit less on eBay and find I could have got it even cheaper elsewhere. If I can't find it elsewhere, any feel for how much less than advertised they would likely accept ? 5% or 10% or ..... ?? |
