Its a page back but the travel lodge in Chester were happy for many of us to take our bikes in when we stayed for the triathlon there. They were very helpful.

Does anyone have experience of sending bikes or frames abroad or sending them here from abroad? Billy's new frame is currently in Brussels. Have just looked at driving over to pick it up and £££ so wondering about couriers.

No personal experience, but I'd say be wary of customs charges. There were a few articles around last year about groups sending groups of bikes abroad for events separately to the riders, and as such fell foul of customs regulations regarding export. If you do get it couriered, I'd look at getting clear statements on those costs.
