The geometries are fairly different. The Ribble looks longer and lower than the Dolan.

Pull up the geometry tables for the two and compare and you'll see. I would suggest use Geometry Geeks to compare them, but the Dolan TR1 doesn't seem to be on there.

They look nothing like one another, one has a cut out for the front wheel for a start!

That’s TT bikes for you :-)

They’re likely to look similar because the industry has generally gone towards that sort of shape based on aerodynamic testing. As the Buzzy one says…. Truly fugly :-)

As an Aerospace Engineer I love the look of TT bikes, Much prefer this more traditional style to the horrible looking Diamondbacks, Ventums, Ceepo's and P3/5-Xs.

Anyone got thoughts/opinions on SKS Raceblades? I've just fitted some of the Raceblade Pro to my winter bike and am thinking this particular model doesn't offer as much protection as I expected.

They're ok for reducing splatter to yourself if you can't mount full guards, but probably not ideal if you're doing much winter bunch riding. They also can be a pain to stop shifting about the stays on some frames.

There is a race blade long that offers more coverage and mounts to the qr axle, but would be a faff if you got a puncture on the road.
