Velociraptor
Me getting to Bhutan wouldn't be carbon negative, though.

Not sure about that Northern Exile - my Shiv always looked UGLY and expensive on the turbo or on the wall.

Perfect winter bike, kept indoors :¬)

As many of you know I like to race and am not a fan of Sportives(pretend racing) but I have just spent 6 days in the states as ex Pro Phil Gaimon runs a hill climb and a 2 day Fondo(sportive).

Obvioulsy I was there for the race but signed up for the whole weekend, there is NO timing on his Fondo and nice wide roads. He has a few strava challenges on certain climbs(lots of hard climbs even trying to go easy)

If you like Sportives and hills and wide roads I can't think of many better places to ride,
I did 5 days of riding about 15hours in total as the first 2 days were getting ready for the hill climb and hardly feel like I scratched the surface of available routes round here.

ps. I still love the alps but may have to come back here again

Sounds like a cool event.
A satisfying ride in an interesting location with some similarly minded people - that's kind of what a sportive is about, it's not a 'pretend race' - it's different and glad you found some enjoyment in it.
