simbil Sep 2018 2:51pm, 17 Sep 2018 7,671 posts	0 simbil My choice for 50 mile commute: chainreactioncycles.com It's a bit overkill, but A road drivers seem to give me a bit more room when I use it. At the other end of the scale, decathlon do a little cheap USB rechargeable light that's good to clip onto bike/pack/clothing as a be seen light for town riding.
cathrobinson Sep 2018 3:10pm, 17 Sep 2018 7,298 posts	0 cathrobinson I have one of those and it is excellent. I have it on pulsing mode and I also am given a wide berth by drivers. I tend to only be on the road for a few miles though - not 59 mile commutes

Have a be seen light which does for my local commute. But I had some hairy moments on part of my ride on a cycle track next to a dual carriage way where it was so dark I couldn't make out where the kerb was.
