Oh absolutely Samsonite yes - I'm not convinced the middle ground you seek actually exists?

Looking at Wiggle it looks like Lifeline or Vaude. They have a CTC dry cleaning bag too...

No review as I don’t have one but at £60 this looks non-Samsonite :-)

My theory is if you have spent a few grand on a bike why skimp on a bag thats going to get thrown around by baggage handlers.

If you’re looking for something for transporting bike in car; rather than flying bike to Majorca (etc), then the Vaude or Lifeline would be best (biggest discount on Lifeless be!).

I’ve been using this Avenir Bike Bag since 2013; used it to take my bike to London on Train, for every single RL100 and to transport bike in back of car.
Bought bag originally through Wiggle & also bought 2 reduced price ‘Chain Reaction’ wheel bags for a bit of extra padding...
Been used quite a lot; including getting across London from Euston to ExCel & just a couple of small holes appeared last year, caused by the gear sprockets...

Where would be the best place to advertise a bike for sale? Least hassle would be good too :)

Check out whether there's a bike selling and buying Facebook group in your area, purps. We have one locally and it's very good.

There seems to be one but not much in the way of road bikes on there.
