they got very good reviews Dave, when I was riding for the shop a few of the lads were knocking around on these.

More friendly than the Crux which is my weapon of choice

Good call

I did consider the Crux Gobi but the Diverge suited my style of riding better. If I ever raced CX or needed bigger tyre clearance the Crux would be high on my list.

I'm on PlanetX XLS cross bike this winter which might be outside your budget lammo. It's very nice, but no mudguard option.

The London Road can take mudguards and racks and clears up to 40mm tyres which is more than enough on road bike. 28mm has been fine for me on a winter bike, maybe 32mm if you are on really bad roads.

1x gearing works fine on a winter bike, only downside is you might run out of gears going downhill (40kmh+).

Wheeled the crux out Dave and raced the West Midlands CX champs having only done one other event, 11th VET which was a surprise.

Damn I love racing cross !!!

Lammo - i've just splashed out on one, though not picked up yet. I needed something in a sort of small women's size and very light, so the Bonaly 26 fitted the bill. Had a fiddle with the 24er in the shop, they really are super light and the components look solid. The absence of a front fork reduces the appeal to the standard youngster / teen, but if you can make them look past that and educate them that a heavy front fork is much worse than having no fork at all on a light bike then they look decent value when put alongside Isla Bikes, and are a bit more "gnarly" than Frog's offerings.

I had a Frog 24 which we sold for £165 (paid £330 new) so whilst the resale didn't set the world alight it did sell quickly and turned the £330 bike into a £165 one instead.

Need some cost guidance: Am putting my aerobars on eBay, but am stumped as what to ask or expect for them - they came with a bike I bought and were a bit of a bargain. They're full carbon and undamaged, I *think* they're Deda elementi but there is no label on them. Fitted with Deda brake levers and 10-speed Shimano end shifters. Adjustable arm rest height and width, no damage or scrapes.

What do you reckon? I think I should expect more than 160 - 180 quid for them, a mate thinks way more. Appreciate some expert opinions :-)
