Tri Mikey
I am considering organising a cyclosportive in spring Summer 2009 called Spires to Shires. It will start at the Transport Museum in the shadow of Coventry's Three Spires (home of the cycle) and will have a 100 mile ride into the shires of Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and back. There will also be a family/novice ride of about 30 miles. the event will support Marie Curie Cancer Care. Please tell me what you, as a cyclist would want to make you enter this event. |

Mikey - Is this the Sportive that was organised this year by Just Racing? I may do it next year as friends entered last year and said it was a good ride. BTW...... I ride a triple! and I'm not ashamed of that at all, I'd never have got up Alpe d'Huez without it. That said I do try to do most of my rides round here in the top two rings. The last few 50 mile + rides haven't used the bottom ring at all. Anyone go to ToB yesterday or today? My OH and littlun were on TV yesterday stood next to Kim Kirchen! |

Ignoring, for now, the fact that casting aspertions at triple chainrings has caused some ensuing enlivening of a thread that had recently become somewhat staid, and thereby achieved it's aim, can I just say.... ....wtf am I on about? Anyway, yeah, same adjuster screws for a triple as a double, and do exactly the same thing. |
