The adjuster screws basically limit travel on your ahem-friend's chain so it can't fall off the top or the bottom, so for the purposes of this conversation the 'middle' ring makes no odds.

JUst heard on 5 live that Lance Armstrong is going to race the Tour De France again next year... Good luck to him, that would be some story if he could pull it off again

Two things loosely Lance-related have pleased me recently. One is that Cadel Evans has hired LA's bodyguard. Following on from this, according to Frank Schleck (in last month's PC), Evans boxed him in on Stage 1 of the tour, then apologised with the excuse "I thought you were Riccardo Ricco"... |
