Nice photos - although to be honest it doesn't look that much wetter than my cycle home from work just now...

Any tips on getting the tyre back on after changing the inner tube? I had a puncture tonight and though I got the tyre off and changed the tube, it was horses' work to change the tyre. My husband had to do it, it just didn't seem stretchy enough, and I couldn't get it back over the rim, he isn't with me on races or long cycle rides sadly.

Difficulty can vary from what type of tyre to type of rim ime. I've had some that go on very easy then others that need a lot of brute force to get the last bit on. Word of advice get some good quality tyre levers.

Can be easier to put the last bit of the tyre on using your thumbs

tried that, my thumbs are really sore! hubby did manage it by somehow wedging the tyre levers in to stop it popping out again, but a lot of brute force too, I haven't got so much myself!

I think I need to take your tip on getting new tyres BM. specially as idio has confirmed that can make a difference.
