LOL, I had a fun 'cyclocross' moment on our ride today, when we were heading back along the Taff trail... some mothers and kids got in the way, just as I was about to go up a short steep incline onto a bank... jumped off, grabbed the bike, shouldered it and ran up the bank...  Mind you, I did realise then that my shoulder isn't quite 100% yet after the dislocation incident three weeks ago...

And running on my roadshoes was decidedly dodgy! I stuck my toes onto the grassy bank, crampons in ice style so as to not slip back I am going to have so much fun doing the cyclo cross

It clashes with everything for me - I'm back to working 2 out of 3 weekends. Many changes really. So I do not need a new bike.

While I am looking forward to the 2nd November, the last day of our season, so I will have my weekends back, till Easter, apart from the odd art fair!

Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get the LOC voucher for the Cycle To Work scheme? I have ordered a bike, to collect this Wednesday, but not sure if I will be able to get it then or not. The paperwork was sent off a couple of weeks ago...

It should be pretty quick Jules. However our company had a set date that you had to order them by each year so you got them at an allotted time. What did you order?

Oh and a bit of techie help needed. I lost my front pads and the little pin that holds them in place during a race the other week. Is this something I could sort myself or am I going to have to take it to a bike shop??
