And 20% off in July too mmm. I started clipping in with an mtb shoe and then progressed to a road shoe - still fell off the obligatory 3 times before getting the hang of cleats though

They look perfect for the job KG. My gf has a pair of Shimano bike shoes and whilst she only rides wearing them on flats she does find them comfortable. She wanted bike shoes because they are have harder soles, but I'm trying to talk her into having SPD pedals (she's a bit scared she'll fall off though!)

I've only fallen off once, more my stupidity than being clipped in! Although if I wasn't clipped in I could've possibly put my leg out to hol me up, just wasn't quick enough.

I'm scared of falling off to, but hey ho, I've been using toe clips for a while so I have had to get used to them, and now don't like riding without. So which ones, the first link? Should I get used to them, and then upgrade to road shoes if I decide I want to be a proper cyclist?(not taking the pi55, seriously not sure which way to go) |

Falls are mostly at zero mph and if you've been toe-clipping you'll be fine. It's just the embarrassment factor of lying in the road with the bike on top of you but hey that's clipped-in life
