Putting a Christmas present to use today. These two baked from a cold (oven) start.

Thanks guys. Although the loaf kinda blew it’s top a bit - need to improve my scoring, hmmm think I need another pressie (lame). Not pre-heating the oven seemed to work ok though, and much less faff. And so far, I can recommend the book.

Anyone tried making their own version of Lazy Garlic?

I do use garlic but not often enough to buy a bulb as it then goes soft

So I’ve been buying lazy garlic (I also have lazy ginger for same reason!) but obviously that’s more expensive

Ideas?

Just been on Pinterest (obviously!) and it seems that in the past I’d stored garlic wrong by keeping it in the fridge!

Lazy Garlic probably works out less expensive than using bulbs unless you get through loads of garlic. But it's nowhere near as nice as fresh garlic. You can probably get minced garlic from the World Foods section a bit cheaper.
