Not a fan of baked cheesecake - I have 2 go to methods for chilled(sometimes just skip the biscuits + pop the mix in little ramekin dishes - can be freezed for later).

Basically either cheese/condensed milk/citrus juice or cheese/whipped double cream/melted chocolate. Chocolate or citrus juice act as setting agent - endless possibilities for flavourings. Favourites are chocolate baileys, white chocolate lime, raspberry Chambord or dark chocolate orange.

I’ve purchased plums to make plum cake as seen a few pages back. Now what is the “HellsBells recipe” then please?

I’ve gone back a few hundred posts but it might take me a few thousand to go...

I am running low on baking products and can't get them in the tesco or sainsbury deliveries that we have managed to get. We are shielding so can't get to smaller shops.

My son has a birthday incoming so I have asked my sister to look out for flour, baking powder, caster sugar in any shops she goes to. Fingers crossed.

We do have a back up plan which is that the board game cafe that we go to (or used to) that do a lovely chocolate cake - are taking orders for delivery - but I'd rather bake it myself.

ElsieToo - Get someone to go to Lidl - every time I have been to the nearest one to me they've had plenty of flour and caster sugar.

Baked cheesecakes are the best, sorry to be controversial there, everything else is just pudding on biscuits.

I bet yours turns out better than mine, NDW. Please don’t show me up with a photo ;-)
