panad - my MiL and husband thought I was mad when I first introduced the idea to them but once they'd tasted it they were converts. I grew up in Cambridgeshire so not sure why it was on the menu for us but I'm (sort of) glad it was DT - it's a must try, if you get it right (important to beat it for long enough and not overcook it) you get a sort of coffee tasting mousse. I often just make it in ramekins as I'm not great at gf pastry, makes it slightly less calorific too. |

This is quite a good recipe if you want individual ones DT: feedingboys.co.uk I've never bothered with the chocolate drizzle there is a recipe online for chocolate Gypsy Tart too that's rather nice but even more indulgent. |

I’ve made bread dough. It’s doing whatever it does for an hour before I knead it again and bake it Stef just said I was a master baker after I got flour and milk on her bread book. At least I think that’s what she said |

Ah there's no baking of the butterscotch tart - just making sure the flour is heated/cooked through, then set it in fridge. I have an emergency stash of dark/milk/white chocolate, creme eggs and Terrys chocolate oranges to bake with May well make choc orange shortbreads soon. I've hopefully managed to order flours and yeast from a local cheesemaker/butcher/farm shop which has broadened into stocking more household stuff and doing deliveries. |

Gimme.. that is the tricky bit. I can only have little taster pieces of cake or the blubber makes a comeback. 😥

That’s how i make it LMH - i *will* eat pastry but really not a massive fan, eaten with a spoon out of a ramekin is definitely the best way. Never had it with chocolate on/in it, but can’t see how it would improve it, so think i’ll keep it plain
