We used to have gypsy tart at school, Croydon late 70s/early 80s. Never seen it since. Glad others remember it, was beginning to think my sister and I had made it up!

Hope you enjoy it GM. I use 100ml evap/100g sugar to make six small ramekins - trust me you don't want a lot in one go! Did you have chocolate concrete too poppy? I have baked a coffee and walnut loaf cake this morning. OH wanted coffee and walnut cake but I didn't want all that buttercream as I'm trying not to gain weight through this whilst still enjoying my daily cake habit so this seemed like a good compromise. A new recipe to me so fingers crossed it has worked ok and he'll like it. |
