Sounds lovely K9! I made banana bread on Saturday but it turned out a bit heavy. I'd run out of baking powder so had to use just SR flour.

❤️ banana bread whatever way it turns out but remember in the Dan Lepard recipe something about bananas being alkaline & needing b powder. However, wouldn't stop me making it if there wasn't any! Delicious bread up ^^ there too Really here just to say thanks for the mincemeat flapjack recipe, made it today & it's disappearing by the minute. Syrup & mincemeat (&butter) very popular in this house in winter

Star has put the complete recipe on the previous page, Collette, it's the quickest thing I ever made - (watch it doesn't burn but maybe that's just my oven overheats & I never compensate correctly)

thanks for the flapjack recipe Star, made them on Saturday (to use up last Christmas's mincemeat) and they are very moreish:)
