Any "PB race" (i.e. not marked in Fetch race finder as "not PB" - e.g. unofficially measured or other reason) counts. And any 3 different distances. My problem is I tend to only do "fast" 5K, 10K and half. My best chance to improve my Standard would be to do shorter distance races. The old Fetch Mile was a great way. But we don't have them often up here any more.
Well done indeed AL. G

Well done AL - and 3k is one of the hardest race distances, because it's usually conducted at a pace so far outside your comfort zone for over 10 minutes as just to be bloomin' horrible.
I have an attempt on Sunday at 5 miles to get my silver standard, after a horrible failure 3 or 4 weeks back. In the middle of a marathon training program (Furman) so hoping it will translate to speed!

Sunday , not a good race by me, but fortunately the first two miles at 6.20 pace meant that even the strong winds and small little hills and muddy finish couldn't deflect from a 71.06% wava, to take me to silver standard for this year. So not happy with the race, I struggled too much later on, without feeling I had gone too fast earlier, but pleased with the 71%.

Another 72% at 10K yesterday. Was hoping for a few seconds improvement on 2 weeks ago to nick a 73% but a bit of a headwind put paid to that (we all said so, not just me!) Glad to have been able to run at all though, as back spasm on Friday meant I was struggling to walk, never mind run. Thankful for small mercies! G
