I *think* my position in the water is OK, I have quite floaty legs. I'm also rubbish at kick drills so I just don't do them

I managed 1.5km today, stopping only to fix my goggles at 400m. Not fast but good, steady splits and under 30min (which is target 5k pace, i.e. 1.40hr).
No flippers 😀

First swim back in the pool since December. You don't forget how to swim but you do apparently forget how to use your swim watch - I kept pressing the stop / start button instead of the lap button and so didn't record half of the swim! Grrr!
I think it was about 1400m. Watch aggravation aside, it was so lovely to be back

I just go to the pool and swim. No fancy drills or anything, just up and down. At the moment we only get 45 mins and am up to 1700m
Need to get outside and swim as my event is open water (lake). Am lucky to have the sea right here buy am concerned about the waves. Thankfully have some friends to help me
