Actually Greg - I understand your whole thing with pain. I am a very good example of a runner - who could run a lot faster if I embraced pain. I have stopped in soooo many races for a breather - usually with 500m to go - because I don't like being out of my comfort zone. This year I am trying to work on it though...
P.S. Snaps has witnessed me stopping before the finish line of a 5k before! Lazy troll.

Greg, you did well. Keep pushing into that pain. Get used to how it feels, get used to being in that zone then after a while it becomes much less scary. In fact it becomes sort of comforting.

Boo boo - I may be running at Benfleet, depending on the train situ on Sunday may involve running 3½ miles there and back though, but thats good training as well
